  1. The Chiefs need to win this one to be a dynasty. They probably will but they need to get the job done. No one cares that you made it, look at the 90s Bills, finish the job.

  2. rich will always go back to the allen-Mahomes interaction huh? why was that such a big deal to you? seems shop talk between professionals. but whatever, we know rich is no friend of the Chiefs.

  3. By using that same reasoning, the 49ers floor is also the Conference Championship, the one year they missed they had an NFL record amount of injuries.

  4. The facemask pass drew a flag from PI at 22nd-yard line when the DB bumped Aiyuk. That is why a great pass that hit the DB in the facemask was never going to be an INT. If it was a drop or an INT it would have been a PI. Analysts who watch football as opposed to "have takes" know that.

  5. Mahomes is a great quarterback, who is going to his 4th Superbowl since he came in the League in 2017. But Football is not a constant. Things change. The AFC West has been a weak division throughout Mahome's career, Brady benefitted here as well, but will is stay weak? Mahomes had great weapons and one of the all-time great coaches, Mahomes has already lost his best receiver and Reid seems like a guy who will retire sooner rather than later. When Montana won his 4th Superbowl in 1990, I don't think Niners fans thought it would be his last. Troy Aikman was 29 when he won his third Super Bowl in four years, it was his last. There i s no rush to have these GOAT conversations. Mahomes is 2-1, Elway, Griese, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Plunkett, Roethlisberger, Starr and Roger Staubach all had 2 wins. But Brady 7-3, Montana 4-0 , Bradshaw 4-0, Aikman 3-0, all better Super Bowl records. So before you start talking about knocking off Brady let us wait until he ties Aikman.

  6. The SF 49ers' system is a plug-and-play QB system. If Brock is somewhere else, he wouldn't be in anybody's discussion. I like him though. Having said that Chiefs 42, SF-17

  7. You know, this matchup kinda reminds me of the first Eli vs Brady Super Bowl in 07. I know there was a lot of talk about how the Giants were massive underdogs, there was no way they could take the down the undefeated Patriots and the Patriots winning that Super Bowl would not only solidified them as one of the best dynasties of all time, but also the greatest team of all time. And even though the Chiefs aren't undefeated, it feels like the same type of conversation. People are talking about how if the Chiefs win this game, they're officially a dynasty and how this win will push the Mahomes vs Brady debate further and all that stuff. And then you have Purdy, who I think most people can agree now is at least a good to above average QB, but nobody can agree is a great or elite QB. And I think the same was said about Eli around that time too. But yknow Eli ended up winning that game in dramatic fashion and then the conversation around Eli completely flipped, and I feel like the same can happen for Brock if he beats Mahomes.

  8. Great take on Purdy. This whole top 10/5/whatever conversation is nonsense, just talking for the sake of talking, and in some cases to deliberately create controversy. Whether he's 9, 11 or whatever makes no difference to anyone except media talking heads.

The only thing we know for sure is that this next game will tell us a LOT about him. I'm all in on him being a good QB with the potential to be much more, and I look forward to watching his progress.

  9. The way these media guys talk demean QBs in Kyle’s system. Why haven’t they used this argument to get Kyle head coach of the year since he can make any qb great? It’s the same argument

  10. It’s because you all overrated the Ravens who are not a post season championship team. You forget that regular season doesn’t count! It’s the playoffs dudes.

  11. It’s insane to me to believe the niners are favored after the last two games… Mahomes and Company on a roll haven’t played a bad game in weeks and people think 9ers are just going to turn it on for an entire game and Purdy will go toe to toe with Mahomes? No. Not even the chiefs with the bills bothered me cuz the 9ers would have been destroyed by the Bills that day. They mentally just couldn’t beat the chiefs.. also the ravens trounced the 9ers and Purdy threw 4 interceptions… what do you think the chiefs at the Super Bowl are gonna do? Sneed time 😮
