Julia Mossbridge, PhD, is a Visiting Scholar in the Psychology Department at Northwestern University, a Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, the Science Director at Focus@Will Labs, and an Associated Professor in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is the author of Unfolding: The Perpetual Science of Your Soul’s Work and The Garden: An Inside Experiment. She is also the co-author, with Imants Baruss, of Transcendent Mind: Re-thinking the Science of Consciousness. She is coauthor with Theresa Cheung of The Premonition Code: The Science of Precognition, How Sensing the Future Can Change Your Life. The website for this book is https://thepremonitioncode.com/.
Here she discusses the paradox that our understanding of time in theoretical physics differs dramatically from our day-to-day experience. She points out that personal experience is the basis of empirical science. She also describes research in parapsychology related to precognition. She and host, Jeff Mishlove, both discuss life-changing personal experiences of precognition. Then she describes her “Positive Precog” program and her vision of a world in which people skilled at precognition become central to many areas of human endeavor.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is past-vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, and is the recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that association for his contributions to the study of consciousness.

Synchronicity city: I just wrote Julia Mossbridge today (March 14) after making reference to her in a radio interview I gave last week on Coast to Coast AM on March 7th about the nature of the human mind. (I met Julia Mossbridge at a conference in Tuscon back in April of 2012.)
As I was watching your excellent interview, I got something of a near instantaneous insight/download which connected a number of the things she said with other material that has been fermenting in my mind about time for many months now, which I feel compelled to share here.
Back in May, I had an opportunity to attend an all-day workshop at the University of British Columbia's School of Theology with an astrophysicist turned theologian from Britain, named David Wilkinson from Durham University in the U.K. I mention his name here because I had an opportunity to sit next to him at lunch along with two other science-type gentlemen, who peppered him with questions as he munched on his sandwich. One of the gentlemen asked him about the Law of Entropy (a.k.a. the second law of thermodynamics) and how this could possibly fit into a cosmology that championed anything redeeming or hopeful, given that the law of entropy ultimately spells a sorry cold end to the universe as we know it. To this challenge, David Wilkinson responded, ah yes, but then there is dark matter and dark energy which comprise 96% of the universe, and about which we know almost nothing. This holds great promise he said.
Fine. So what does that have to do with time? Everything. You see, when Wilkinson said what he did, I added that Erwin Schrodinger posited that life itself was a negentropic proposition, something which shouldn't be lost on us. Then as said above, while listening to Julia Mossbridge, I suddenly got this flash of insight which connected to that lunch time conversation back on May 8th day in 2018. The arrow of time, as we experience it anyways, is related to the entropic universe and not to a negentropic one. What this implies, among other things, is that we human beings, are akin to "symbiants", which is to say that while the ultimate source of our consciousness likely belongs to the timeless, the human side of us appears to belong to the entropic time clock. Thus in a sense, when we incarnate as human beings in a human body, I would submit to you that an aspect of our soul if you like crosses a sort of threshold or event horizon beyond the negentropic, and as a result, our mind streams are pulled into a kind of confusion current or "lok" as the ancient Hindus might call it, about the nature of reality. As a result of being in human bodies, what we see is effectively what we get. But if we "see" differently, we get differently. If we see with quantum eyes that can see, we experience a much broader view of reality. This of course has many additional and more profound implications, which I won't dare to belabor here in this limited space. But thanks for doing this interview, as it helped to connect some important dots.

i love when i discover myself and then find confirmation of truth to my being.. as i wtch this, i had just left a comment on my"perception" of time..and easing suffering…and how i need to learn language ..julia goes into alot of what "i know to be truth.. Timelessness may be experiential only, and not intellectual. We can talk this way about it forever, but no theory can show how something works when it just is.
I think she's wrong about apparent sequence in timeless events – 1000s of NDErs posit both "stories", with apparent sequence, and also timelessness – as well as the sheer impossibility of conveying both at the same time. An exercise of jumping out of the cage of time – imagine the ancestor that you know of who was a lynchpin in a chain of family pain at peace – imagine their rage, and madness turning into peace, and do it until you feel a corresponding relaxation – I'm convinced this is an exercise in conjuring, in undoing of knots – the way out of the cage of time is EMOTION – inject love into the "past" and you're boomeranged into an "imagined" future. The proof is your present peace where there was none before, and the only guide you need is longing. Edited to add that this is what "forgiveness" is – not a glossing over of horrors, not gas-lighting yourself into imagining that being tortured was somehow OK, but it's a moment of true "white magic" where a glimpse either of noetic, instant "undoing" undoes your chain to your own anguish and sorrow, or in which a moment of emotional understanding ju-jitsus through the death-grasp of generationally transferred anguish and just furnace-blasts the ice – generations of pain undone in the heat of love! I had this insight after a kind of once in a life time occurrence – love destroys as much as it creates – it destroys all that is currently NOT it – but curiously what is NOT it, such as pain also ENGENDERS it – put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Younger women show less precognition than men. I bet my ass off this is due to evolutionary psychology.
Is time and consciousness one indivisible whole? Granted, people are limited by experiencing time to experiencing momentary events. However, there surely is a whole. Isn't there? What is the present awareness?

Frustrating at her site. I had to choose between plant/food and something else .. I had seen a playground and grasslike stuff came up in the image just as I had envisioned .. I had even written green, light, grass, playground .. but because she put plant/food as category B I didn’t choose it as grass wasn’t ‘food’.
So according to her experiment I got it ‘wrong’. I think this is a very unsatisfactory way to rate the experiment . Too rigid. I was definitely on with it. So I stopped participating. . Categories are too mixed up.

Fantastic interview Dr. Mishlove! I am a student of Jean Gebser’s structures of consciousness and specifically his concept of “integral consciousness.” I believe that the greater understanding of precognition, telepathy, clairvoyance & psychokinesis will define a new relationship of human consciousness to space and time. This will be essential to understanding Gebser’s concept of “integral consciousness.”

If TIME is a creation of the mind (a kind of QUALIA facilitating the exploration of reality) this explains why CONSCIOUSNESS is influencing any scientific experiences. Our standard model of reality is wrong (thanx to the 2 heads of Satan: the catholic church & the European monarchies ) and must be replace by a model reflecting a SPIRITUAL MONISM.
