The job market stats for Data scientists seem to have a positive curve. The research by LinkedIn reveals that there over 13,700 open positions for data scientist jobs in the United States. Also, IBM predicts that 2020 the count of Data Science and Analytics jobs is projected to grow somewhere around 364,000 to 2,720,000.
Is it the position that needs to be filled or are they being paid what well enough? Let’s check the monetary compensation for these demanding professionals. With $116,870 being the average data scientist salary – a Data Scientist job role is worth paying attention.

Next in the row is UX Designer
As per the article from Brazen Life, the Job trends for UX Designer is #1 amongst 7 in-demand careers in design and planning. This profile has a job growth up to 30%.
A recent report OnwardSearch cited that there are over 150,000 open UX design jobs throughout America.
As per the statistics report by Glassdoor, the average UX Design salary nationwide is $90,000. Making them one of the highest paid job profile.

Coming up in the line are Business Analysts.
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employment Projections Program has cited that, American employers will need 876,000 business analysis related professionals by 2020.
The monetary compensation is as high as the demand for these professionals. BLS stated as of May 2016 is that the average annual income for all management analysts, including business analysts, was $91,910 which is higher the average jobs in the US.

Up Next in the sequence are Artificial Intelligence and Machine-Learning Developer.
According to the Paysa report, U.S. employers will spend more than $650 million on annual salaries for 10,000 jobs in AI in 2017.
Also, Machine Learning engineers should expect to see an 11% rate of job growth from 2014 to 2024.

PayScale reported that, as of 2017, machine learning engineers took home a median annual salary of $106,225.
The average salary for Artificial Intelligence Engineers is $143K.

The list is now followed by Cyber Security Professionals.
The survey results by Forbes states that there are over 209,000 unfilled positions for cybersecurity roles in the U.S., and nearly 1 million worldwide.
As per the stats by Bureau of Labor Statistics, cybersecurity professionals earn an average salary of $116,000, or nearly $55.77 per hour. This is almost three times the national median income for full-time wage and salary workers.

Coming Up next are Web Application Developers.
The Projected job growth for web developers from 2014 through 2024 is 27% (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
This is nearly 4x the national average (7%) and more than twice the “computer occupations”. The income and job demand go hand in hand. Last in the row and definitely not the least are the Database Administrators.
Employment opportunities for database administrators are projected to increase by 11% nationwide from 2014 to 2024, faster than average for all occupations. Also, as per a research published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the vacancies for the DBA profile is anticipated to upsurge by projected to be 133,400 in 2024. Database administrator salaries are among the highest base wages in IT. As per the leading salary surveys and national employment data, the avg salary for DBAs is $98,500 – $ 148,500.
