Some people are just talkative and that does not mean they can actuality do the job. I have been in this field for past 27 years and I have seen some people are very smooth talker but when it comes to actually doing the job they can not perform. I prefer to hire people that talk less and disciplined and can actually do the job. Some people can not talk much, can not articulate very well does not mean they do not have the concept or can not do the job. I have seen guys that talk less actually are lethal in doing the job practically. I once had a co-worker man who could hardly speak English but in his line of work he was awesome.Even during my college life I knew some students from Asia they could hardly speak English but man any subject they took, they A's it. To me interview is an act and some people are just very good at it. Peace
I don't know how there's so few views of this. Full of great questions and study topics. Only criticism might be your recording video and sound quality need something a little more professional.
For me to answer all these questions you posed here, I should be getting like $250K per annum for the job.
honestly, 90-95% of questions are easy to me. Hope that I'll find a good job when I get to USA the next year. 8 full years of IT experience in Russia.
This video is exactly why I hate interviews. I'll get rejected by a company only to get hired by a contractor and still end up working the same role
thanks great review
These are exactly the types of questions I ask on a technical interview. If you don’t know this you won’t make it to the in person interview at my company.
nice review.
A sys engineer should all these things.
This is for a mid career to senior career interview questions btw.
These are all good questions and cover a lot of what I studied in college. Unfortunately we didn't have any hardware labs setting up any physical devices. But these are good review questions
i'm completely agree with tom
thanks for e infor, it helps me to refresh back since i am going to have a tele interview later in e day…
for a linux admin role cum data centre engineer
can u also provide tips for a linux data centre technician interview common questions as well if u dont mind.
lmao why are you wearing airpods in the video?
Very Good Questions
Great overview. Thank you. I only fall short at being able to articulate what certain things are vs configuring hands on. It’s like explaining why do you turn the wrench vs just turning the wrench.
Thanks for making this clip! Some great ideas in there
He looks like "i am too rich for you" looking down at us. Its also really unfriendly to have airpods in when talking to someone. Also please clean your camera lens :/
Is network and systems administration part of computer science or IT?

Do people really not realised the AirPods are used for recording the sound? There’s too many questions about those for some reason. Anyhow, great video. I’ve been in IT for almost 10 years now and know about 90% of the questioned asked, but looking for a new job, so it will be good to brush up on some of these topics. Thank you for taking your time to share and record this video it’s a very useful skeleton for interview prep.
Thanks this is great but honestly some of these questions are irrelevant as people have moved on to cloud …for example people don’t patch hardware in the cloud or use sccm
Omg, I hardly know few things out of your list bro. Sad part is I just finished my sys admin course. But no offense with the reach I had, it's just that there are ton o things that I need to know😅. Thanks for enlightening anyways.
Why did you stick on only VMware to access virtualization?

But mr ancient pickles, you aware that we can burry all those devices by migrating it to Microsoft 365?
Why should we even use those ugly phones when we can let call stacy with teams from all over the world.
Also E1 license is free
-> This is what gets you hired
Thanks lot appreciate your efforts request more videos about this
