Mechanical engineering is the design and manufacturing of mechanical systems. You’ll want to have a strong interest in advanced math and physics if you go into this major. Mechanical engineering is one of the most versatile of the engineering disciplines because of all the fields you can go into. This video covers an overview of the mechanical engineering undergraduate curriculum and some career paths.

When the engineer is gaming
Very interesting major ❤️❤️
Sheeesh, all I wanna do is make an exoskeleton
F I'm so bad at phy. and math even making computer engineer needs them
Why does computer engineer needs physics wtf
4:10 This is actually a building in Taipei, Taiwan. Not Japan lolll.
I'm a mechanical engineer and this video is really accurate
Need to fix things
And mathcul
4:04 it's in Taiwan
Just about to start my junior year, looking forward to the fun stuff
So I'm a bit late to the show, but that building at 4:00 is the Taipei 101 in Taiwan. Not in Japan.
I'm a 16 year old high school student and I will graduate in 2022 and pursue Mechanical engineering in the University. I will be here to announce it that i've started.
NB: I'm aiming to work at Tesla Motors.
Isn't the building shown at this video is Taipei 101 of Taiwan and not Japan? Just sayin'
I studied mechanical engineering( production option ).I was the second best during my studies.
I equally studied cardiothoracic ICU nursing. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
I feel like this guy is introducing a new DnD class and is really excited about what it can do, which is the same feeling I have.
do mechanical engineers do programming?
I'm currently 14,any tips?
And then you graduate and end up never using any engineering theories you learned in school and instead do a lot of bill of materials, order processing, and ECN work lol
My mechanical engineering course did a lot about materials and also some law and economics half modules^^ lot of different types of info
Mechanical engineer is a person who is capable of fix my headphones.
4:03 just a little correction, this building is Taipei 101 located in Taiwan, not Japan.
Man, and here I was just trying to be like Phineas and Ferb…
Im an incoming college freshman with a M.E. as a program, i legitimately have no clue on what ill be going to do. And this thing is going to be exhilarating
The building mentioned that it's from Japan. It's actually called Taipei 101 located in Taipei.
Thank you for this video! I'm starting the major next month and this video really helps♥️
This video made my decision clear.
Wow
Watching this because class will start soon enough.
– a first year bs mechanical
is it harder than computer sciences? For some reason i feel like mechanical engineers put double effort than CS but still earn less money than computer scientists so there must be something in here? I used to study CS but i feel like 99% of the time you spend your time programming unlike mechanical engineering which seems more interesting & dynamic like all the time you do something different.
I was inspired by Dead Space's Issac Clarke
Does machanical engineering harder than other engineering fields
How did the they know I was going to start study mechanical engineering?
The building you showed is actually in Taipei Taiwan and not in Japan
This is actually helpful for me since ima start taking college classes.
What are the mechanical engineering programs mentioned in the video?
4:02 The building is Taipei 101, which is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Not in Japan.
