In this video, I discuss OpenAI’s newest language model, GPT-3 and discuss the positive and negative implications for content creation. With AI generating articles, sections of books, blog posts, poetry, etc., what does that mean for the future of writers, bloggers, and written content creators?
Will GPT-3 and similar AI text generating systems create misleading articles, spam, and fill up the internet with a bunch of nonsense? Or, can we use it in positive ways to help improve our own writing skills? And some important things to consider and think about are, who will moderate the content generated by machines? How about transparency? Will we know when something was written by a machine vs a human?
There are many psychological implications to AI. And as someone who studies human behavior, I care deeply about the human-side of AI and would love for more people to join these conversations.
