Microsoft can’t seem to get Windows 10 right, and maybe now we know the reason: because they just announced Windows 11! Coming sometime around the end of this year, Windows 11 promises to be everything Win 10 is not. There’s only one problem: Everyone is claiming (including MS) that you’ll need a super-modern puter to run it. In this vid, I take a look at Windows 11 and its system requirements. I also review past Windows releases, and how each time, the same thing happened. In short, YES, your computer will run Windows 11 just fine! Nothing to see here…

microsoft, seriously, just return to windows 7. nobody wants your new crap.
My won’t run windows 11 Bec my pc is really old
But… I thought Microsoft said 10 would be the last windows ever; they'd just issue patches to it forever and ever.
A lots of thanks Scottie for your help 🙂
Hi Scottie and Cletus ~ Mine came with 11, I'm not doing anything with it. I did just remove Edge, the proper way. And created a Block so they won't install it again. After I remove it the new, very annoying, animated image in the top left corner of Youtube went away. I'm loving that! I'm enjoying Brave; no commercials when I play my youtube file of my favourite music videos. Have a great day!
I don't use my desktop much just my phone now. Give me win 95 anything b4 10 !!!!!!
yes but mine says unsupoorted processer Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
Microsoft is requiring 8th gen intel chips or newer now (or amd ryzen gen 2 or later)
I am so glad to hear that my ten-year-old Toshiba laptop with a third Gen processor 1Gb of Ram and no TPM at all will be able to run Windows 11. I can now use it till I retire in 2040! What is Android and Why would I want to Run an app of it? Can I add TPM to my BIOS if it's not there? Can I get a TPM module for my laptop?
That requirements page is now removed from Microsoft's site! Back into the dark eh Kenny?
OH, you said tentacle, I thought you said something else…😁
How to fix youtube play all vids on an old tablet?
What's the problem with using a stagnating OS? If stagnating means supported but no new compulsory features, IMHO that's the ideal OS for people who like stability. Which is next to everyone.
Do we HAVE to update the damned thing to Windows 11?? I put off the W10 updates and just keep doing so. I'm the one with the RAM issue which I still cant figure out, turned off all the startups etc, clean my machine nightly. What the heck is a TPM lol – oh ok. My computer is an HP laptop about 5 years old. I dont want this, sounds like a damned nuisance to me. Tweeted & Rtd bc you're so nice and knowledgeable. Thx Scottie!! PS> You know too much lol!
I can't find any option for enabling the secure boot in my Gigabyte motherboard.🙄
I think MS has done this on purpose to keep a lot people from joining insider program and running windows 11. As you say they will change this by this fall.
this good and dandy, but my UEFI does not have TPM. On ASUS max hero VI w/4670k and that's not here.

Thank you, you convinced me: I'll forget about Windows 11 and stay with Windows 10.
As of 7/3/21 it still says PC Health Check is "COMING SOON" – have you seen a link to get it? (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11#pchealthcheck)
nah, windows is trash, get a nice Linux distro instead
Does turning on fTPM have any impact on performance?
It run smoothly on my 17 years old desktop. Pentium dual core processor.
yeah ty scottie keep the faith ..this is the msg for MS …fuck you and apple…/i gettin into talking face to face
how about those that have older pc's (more than 10 yrs ) that helped with testing windows 10 we all don't have the cash to spend on new or upgrading there pc.
I still hate all the bloatware Windows 10 has been including since the start and actually cause issues with my daily computing needs and doesn't have the ability to turn off the installation nor uninstall.
Cortana, OneDrive, Edge, XBox, Store, probably more yet that I just don't recall off hand, all fit into the garbage I have absolutely no need for.
I also hate how they want to remove the control panel. I hate the Settings area they put in.
I miss the days of Windows XP, Windows 7, even Windows 8.0 was fairly nice (and I was among the few that actually had no issues getting the Start Menu back to normal in Windows 8.0 without looking up how).
Ditch Winblows and install Linux Mint instead 😉
Why even go to all the trouble, when you can install an easy and stable and enjoyable operation system?
Unfortunately most people are like blindfolded Sheep 🐑 they just want to follow the herd and don’t ask any critical questions 🙄
Dont mine testing out
So what’s the chance I can run windows 11? My pc surpassed everything but tpm and my cpu isn’t supported tho it is pretty good, I only have tpm 1.2 and the cpu is a i7 4790 orginal model.
THE HEALTH APP SHOWED MY 5 YEAR OLD PC MUST HAVE SECURE BOOT AND NOTHING ABOUT TPM AND MINE IS TPM 1.2
I couldn’t get the MBR to GPT command line conversion to work, so I ended up re-installing Windows 10. Now I have the right partitioning scheme, which let me ditch compatibility mode and enable secure boot. A pain, but at least I get the thumbs up on the apps that check for Win 11 compatibility. I should have checked out this video earlier. Oh well.
If anyone is even serious about privacy and security then don't even consider Windows, delete that operating system and get Linux. Linux is free, open source, extremely secure (unlike Windows), doesn't monitor you at all, cares about your privacy and will never delete anything unless you delete it yourself. There's also never any advertisements for anything ever. You get notifications when there's an update but that's it. Linux also has something called a repository where all the programs are located. Its kinda like a cloud for every Linux program for that flavor of Linux. So you never have go to searching for a program to download from some shady website worrying about installing malware or a virus, that simply does not exist in Linux. Viruses are also mostly a thing of the past. Only 1% of all malicious code is written for Linux, meanwhile Windows is 95%. I've never once had a virus while using Linux; and that's while not using any anti-virus or anti-malware and I use it literally every day as my main operating system.
If you're willing to do the tiny amount of work to learn how to install and use Linux (which isn't hard at all though some flavors of Linux are more advanced that others; Id start with Linux Mint or Ubuntu for most people) then you'll experience complete freedom. I switched from Windows to Linux 3 years ago and once I started using it I just couldn't go back, it was too good, and you couldn't pay me enough to use windows again. To put it bluntly, Windows is the epitome of tyranny and Linux is complete freedom.
However because of this complete freedom Linux isn't there to hold your hand and treat you like a 5 year old. If you have a problem you need to look up the problem and try to figure out whats wrong. You can't just contact customer service because there is no customer service, Linux is open source and built by the Linux community, not some corporation. There are dedicated forums for you to go asking for help but we find it annoying if someone asks basic questions they could have found out if they just took one minute to look up the question before asking us. However if you cant find the answer to your question we're more than happy to help someone with a question no matter how stupid you may think it is. Just make our lives easier by looking it up first lol.
If anyone does decide to use Linux instead, enjoy your newfound operating system freedom (:
The problem I have…Can not enable TPM for W11 because my motherboard does not have TPM ( confirmed by Microsoft and HP) and and my HP desktop is only five years old..HP says I have to buy a new PC
My computer has TPM 1.2 any Luck for install Win11?
Dual boot: Linux Mint and win 10….
“Look how happy she is” 😂😂
Nice video, learned a lot about both Win 10/11 that I didn't know before…..
