Remember he was taught, as the future king, that he was better, and more important than anyone. I can see his great, grandmother the queen's mother nurturing and telling him that and all sorts. Remember Diana was upset that she would invite Willie round for tea and chat, but not Harry. She was grooming Willie to be king the do's and don'ts. So naturally, he's not going to listen to anyone.
