43. I disagree that consciousness is feelings. I think consciousness is quite separate from both intelligence and feelings. Feelings are the product of viscera. Consciousness is awareness, the very being of being. I also challenge the idea that humans will become immortal. By definition alone, anything born or created is mortal. But also, while it will no doubt be possible to extend life with the help of technology, I doubt it can be extended indefinitely. I guess we’ll see.
