1. Information Theory: Order (i.e. crystal structure) and Information (DNA/RNA) are NOT the same thing.

2. Mathematics, like Language, in its infinite manifestations is constantly being discovered. Mathematics, like Language, is the expression of an Intelligence that permeates All that Is, All that Was, and All that Will Be, in this and any other universe of existence. This expression facilitates self discovery of Intelligence with Itself within the 'physical' universe through the filter of us All.

3. So, it has been determined that written human language arouse about 5 thousand years ago. Then, who/what wrote the written language of biological systems found in DNA starting at least billions of years ago if language is a product of only mind / consciousness / intelligence?

6. Creatures in the wild do not need language for survival what they need is food and drinks and to become more conscious than the next so that they are not killed or eaten. They become conscious fast even in the womb so that survival is priority number one. Humans conscious abilities are weaker short term and so we need to feed and protect the little ones from danger and as such this takes time but it creates stronger bonds within the group and each other which is beneficial in large populations. The wild creatures do not have this luxury there conscious abilities are quick like them.

Consciousness is a development or extension of survival both for short term survival and long term survival if we take into consideration the constituents that make us relevant which must also be survival relevant then the composition make up of us is in direct correlation to that trajectory and as such those that are produced follow suit. We as humans need to be conscious for our survival as did the creatures or beings before us which were also relevant consciousness beings. The way it goes is like this we are part of the universe it continues or tries to expand or grow as it grows the constituents follow protocols or suits the constituents within side it grow with it or create as we humans do we follow suit or protocols we mimic the universe because the constituents mimic the universe but we don't know why. If one can move past survival of structure then you are left with GOD. If one can move past survival through time and morph into a super natural entity then you are stuck with infinity if you can survive for long enough to develop or change. The ultimate creatures are survival experts in nature but can live for long periods to make it seem infinite we are mimics of this which is celebrated in stories and our nature but is not restrictive to us this goes for everything in the cosmos including elephants.

Early life forms did not need language for consciousness to be so language developed later on as a communication tool between animals to help with survival purposes in keeping enemies at bay and to communicate between each other first as a survival oriented expression be that be because of food gathering or protection and then developing over time. Consciousness is an extension of the ability to survive to be conscious enhances life's chances of continuing or surviving as most creatures are conscious which elaborates over time to varying degrees or frequencies. Most humans who are non conscious do not survive for long or need support so it is a support system for life or a development of sought to re enforce survival and life's to continue which is represented in small scale structures that make the material universe relevant then the torch is passed onto creation with information transfer or attitude of structure. Language is survival oriented in its composition its just morphed over time but is still relevant for survival purposes or increases the ability for one to live or survive as does being conscious.

14. You don't need words to have a language. You can communicate with visuals (like a dog showing teeth), with pheromon etc… Communication exist since the beginning of life. But human language permit a high level of abstraction. We can develop more complex thoughts because of language. We can embed deeper meaning in things we experience. I don't think it's a question of be conscious or not, but complexity of consciousness. Like life that can be super simple or very complex. (we already have problem to pin point where life begin, so consciousness…).

    Human are born from a simple cell to very complex organism and I think consciousness do the same. Language is a building block of more complex consciousness.

15. One further comment – the science of consciousness must factor in the science of meaning generally, with language in culture for humans more specifically. That is, the semiotic theories of Charles Sanders Peirce and Jakob von Uexküll. There can be no compelling science of consciousness without reference to essential semiotic principles, such as motivation, association and habituation.

16. I disagree with Russ Hurlburt's take. General principle for all creatures – bodies wire neuroplastic brains. Human mind-bodies, with vocal chords and hands, intercept experiences that predispose humans to engaging with culture, principally through language. In this way, culture wires brains. A buzzer might elicit a response that Hurlburt defines as being independent of language, but how could it? Every human learns from culture how every event is to be interpreted – in a deep and subtle way. Different cultures apply different meanings to "alarm" situations. Sorry, the situation is more complex than Hurlburt gives it credit, but at least he's agnostic in his conclusion.

19. Several Times in My Life, but Not for Two Decades or more.
    I would Experience a Rare Euphoria when Conversing with Certain Individuals.
    It never occurred with the same person.
    It seemed to be Something about the Conversation between Myself and the other. Strangely the Conversations seemed Perfect, yet were Never about Anything Very Important.
    These have been Completely Random.
    On All Occasions I was Healthy.
    On All occasions the Feeling was Very Pleasant, seemed to be Centred somewhere between My Brain and Heart.

    I Never Fully Figured Out what was going on, but I am Glad I was onto the Phenomenon.

21. From the start, Hurlburt makes fundamental mistakes in this domain.
    Humongous ontological errors when talking about consciousness and language!
    You can't have consciousness without a "communicative" real, material scaffolding in your biological brain ( even if a being, any being, doesn't talk, even if it doesn't have a specific language of its own, it has the real "communicative" DNA-scaffold in place ).
    The main real situation is the actual level of that consciousness in any biological life on Earth.
    What's the level, and not if it's present or not!
    Is it very insignificant, very small, small, medium, normal, big,….etc?
    With this fundamental mistake that he makes, the rest of his comment is useless, with zero value.
    In fact, in the rest of his opinions he confuses the study of chaotic processes with the one of the normal ones.
    Sorry, Hurlburt, you don't get it correctly at all!

24. All he is studying are subjective interpretations and reports of experiences. He has no way to actually study another person's experiences.

25. give them this too, it is about latest congress hearing, that will help them to get deeper in their denial state of reality:
    the technology they use alters the state of matter to get rid of its conventional physical characteristics such as interacting with gravitational fields, solidity,… as a part of the technology used to make shifts through space "so-called trans-medium flying objects" so current technology of taking pictures is useless, most of them are blurry "needs minds to go beyond that, to have the ability to understand what is going on" (mind is stronger evidence for intelligent entities than solid boneheads).
    turning off that technology to use second flying technology is possible, for instance slow manoeuvring or landing but that very rare to capture.
    the phenomena is not new at all, they found the planet earth thousands of years ago, not only that, they misled, manipulated and abused mankind badly.
    the current understanding of space, time, gravity, mass, momentum, velocity, energy,…. not only incomplete rather in some case wrong.
    they interfered in mankind's life since a long time ago "thousands of years" and worked hard to keep mankind backward and drag them back.
    so-called secret sacred knowledge which was limited to a specific religious groups such as ancient Egyptians, Mayan, …. etc was to hide their advanced technology.

    some current governments think that they discovered a new thing ! that is not new phenomenon at all, they misled, manipulated and abused mankind badly many times before.

37. Many of the commentors on this topic do not really understand what language means in this context. Language in this context is a kind of force that causes changes in the physics and chemistry of other objects and yet it is not a material force that can be explained or accounted for in any material or mathematical terms, no, not in the quantum field. It is as immaterial as consciousness is and yet exerts so much force. A person could be impacted by the force of a language that could cause his instant death due to violent chemical and other changes it brings about in that person's body. The meaning of the language is not material but it exerts such a force and much more. The force of language cannot, therefore, be explained by the material universe.
