why should quantum tunneling be so mysterious and why should there be what is called 'impenetrable barrier' to the protons crossing through the cell walls when any atom is over 99 percent empty space and the much tinier proton could just whisk through with no mystery at all where ever and whenever it wants to just like in macrophysics – perhaps unless electrical charges are involved.
my assumption was that the tadpole's metamorphoses into the adult form is controlled by the relevant coding genes plus their corresponding epigenes for the correct anatomical shapes to come out at the right time and space for the frog. this takes place in quantum spaces, in those cells, so these has to fall under quantum mechanic laws – or should it?
can those relevant electrons in the robin's eyes function in the same way without being so called 'entangled'? after all both are microscopically physically close to its other in the small spaces of the bird's eyes and ordinary neuroconnections and neurochemicals must be there for communication between them without any space between and how can entanglement of the quantum type happen in biology in the first place.

Im confused as to how quantum mechanics plays a part in smell? I understand the basic idea explained in the video, but i dont get how its explained as being quantumly mechanical?
In Turkish, the verb of "smell" is used with auxiliary verb "listen". Maybe they had a thought about it.

I find it strangely comforting and reassuring to learn that at the most fundamental, quantum level within cells quantum magic (quantum tunneling, quantum entanglement, and the like) abides and redounds.
