AI Artificial Intelligence is a science of making intelligent machines, especially computer programs. it is a way of making computer, computer controlled robot or software thinking intelligently. Steven Hawking, Elon Musk , Bill gates have shown the concern about the risk that AI poses. few researchers think we are centuries away from making human level AI. in a conference in 2015 few researchers accepted the possibility of making something smarter than human before 2060. Narrow AI or weak AI is created to perform some specific tasks. in 1997 a chess game program Deep Blue registered victory over champion Gary Kasparov. General AI or Strong AI can out perform Human in every cognitive tasks. iin fiction we have those machines in movies but in reality we are far from that. HMD getting a Trademark registered VIKI. Nokia chairman is getting aware and raising awareness about AI. Facebook is also working on AI and had to shut down its robots because they developed a new robot language and were communicating. facebook has its own Facebook AI research (FAIR) it is to seek, understand and develop the human level AI. facebook is working with Intel on Deep learning. Google is already working on AI. they have put an AI chip in Pixel 2 phone. AI can be used in Medical field, technology, gaming, education. there are advantages and disadvantages of AI however it is at a very initial stage.
