In recognition of his distinguished career as a philosopher and a cognitive scientist and of his enormous contributions to the world of thought, Daniel C. Dennett was presented with the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa from Trinity College, at the 191st Commencement of Trinity College.
