In order to avoid paying PRS fees yet again (which means the artist gets nothing) companies are now attempting to use software to cut out any art input at all and use software to scuffle melodic patterns copyright free. It surely must be the final straw in departing with the art of human expression of emotion in music. The sad part is that music is a universal language because of its emotion and it enriches us, heals us, and brings us together.
The day a computer can feel and share emotion then ‘Artificial Intelligence’ in music might have credibility. Until then I’d soon do a physics equation!!
