The latest set of my Works of Art is presented through Abstract Expressionism, with a unique concept entailed- that of Universal Energy and how every entity is intertwined in one way or another, often referred to as the Holistic Connection. To provide a deeper understanding, the Holistic Connection is a philosophy centered around the concept that each individual discovers meaning and purpose in life through mental, physical, and spiritual connections to the natural world, an overall “bigger picture” tying us all together. I depict the stated concept through extraordinary strength and dramatics. In the process of painting, I combine spontaneous activity and mental improvisation in means of embarking into exploration of Universal Energy as a whole. To be precise, the body is portrayed through the shaped unities with a certain form. I hold onto the shape while emphasizing the tone and color through the feeling that is being presented. The body consists of shaped unities which hold a certain form. The soul is depicted through the tight, localized and bombastically applied circular shape structures scattered throughout the ‘body’. The mind stretches over the entire surface with explosive scattered lines. Depending on the thought and the current mental devotion, they stretch in various directions and lengths- short, long, interrupted…or simply dots. The universal energy is where the Holistic Connection is contained; the grounds of the canvases are essentially the basis itself through which the Universal Energy is being presented.
