Abstract Painting / Easy for Beginners / Palette Knife / Demo #051

Oliver Maass – Abstract Art

easy abstract painting technique for beginners using a palette knife and a brush. I used the palette knife to layer and blend the acrylics, what creates the lovely textures. The brush and the palette knife are used to add some splashes.

Acrylic paint on canvas (40x40cm)

  2. Just about to put the black border on then when dry, going to give it a go! I've never painted with acrylic before, how long to dry?…thanks 👍😄💓

  3. Absolutely beautiful. Your ability to distribute the colour – drawing in the viewer with movement is incredible. The detailing might go unnoticed by the average person yet it makes all the difference in the finished art. Kudos!

  4. Me: Looks easy enough
    Brain: looks easy to start
    Hands:start copying
Me : staring at my painting and looking back at his
    (5 seconds later)
Me: screaming and pulling mah hair
(This says for beginners but this should be put in a museum. Tbh anime drawing is easier than abstract) (don't judge mah) like if u the same

  5. ridiculous. go on soccer mom, express yourself….. or, make it easy on yourself and your lack of "life experiences" and buy a mass-produced printed canvas at Hobby Lobby to accentuate the towels in you half-bathroom downstairs. This is so stupid.
