  2. An excellent insight of a typographic studio. Oh so often the type is the last / if at all to be considered. Back in the early 60s when I first entered the design world, even before Letraset was widely available a lot of titling was produced by hand. I'm still learning even as a 74yo.

  3. "Designing the logo isn't the hard job, it's persuading a million people to use it" I'm a logo designer for the past 10 years and I couldn't relate more to this phrase right here.

  4. I'll admit as a traditional artist in what I feel is a dying art, I almost want to cry at Paula's statement about the late 90s and how people started moving to computerized design; I suffered for years with depression at the thought of feeling left behind just for staying true to my skills. Dont get me wrong I'm not a technophobe and computers are immensely useful, but I feel left behind and obsolete. My goal as an artist, illustrator, designer and painter is to hold true to my proficiency with traditional mediums and utilize digital tools for enhancement and manufacture because my peers, even those with immense skill with tablets and computers, really admire my creativity as I do theirs. I suppose we all get inspired by each other.
