1. Fan art isn’t the same as original art imo

   Fan art is making a recreation of a licensed character who was made by someone else. It’s the same situation except there’s nothing wrong with making fan art so there should be nothing wrong with using it because it isn’t your original art.

   If it was original art with its own vision then that is a different story.

4. The problem is that these artists are not fans of the channels that use their work, so they don't know how content creators acquired their art. Also, there are some bad eggs that go full public drama instead of notifying the channels.

8. MatPat you made me way more interested into games since I was in middle school. Fanart has hurt my friend I apologize to you appropriate fanartists, but I don't like fanart period. You explicit fanartists should know better.

   im turkish and i see so many turkish videos using fanart UNCREDITED and no one cares about it
   maybe its not just turkey but this is just my experience

11. Hey matpat, real quick, hope you see this, I have an idea for the blue thing, I know about space theory and that, but we all know it ain't "cannon". Anyway, my idea was something like horror/internet theory, wip name. Basically on the internet side, it could discuss web ARGs, crypto, computer stuff, and other things related to those. But my favorite part is the horror side/ Idea, there you can discuss the science of non supernatural horror creatures, such as bridge worms, train eaters, and stuff like that, and you can try do stuff like test how stuff would actually look like from horror artists when but into a realistic way. This is just my idea and if you have any opinion on it I'll happily hear it. Best wishes, I hope things turn around soon.
