I think IoT is overrated, and I think many companies don't know what to do with AI. They don't already know how to detect carcinomas, so they can't think of how to easy apply AI for that purpose. They can't already think of how to find multiple different medications for a specific pathway, so they can't understand how to apply the tech. Cloud cluster computing is more relevant then IoT
