This video is a demonstration of a computer program playing FPS Games using only raw pixel data.

Very impressive!
funny that unlike human kids, it doesn’t shoot the barrels, no reward on that for the Q-values to increase 😀
Is this running with or without the extra game features (ie enemy detection) ? Either way, really impressive!
Awesome! Great work! I suppose high level players can still beat it though?
Looks pretty cool. Is it possible to get a setup to play around with it and test by myself?
Please install this AI on Honda Asimo
Only raw pixel data? That's just amazing.
Will it work with other FPS as well? Like Quake?
Finally the first self learning AI better then bots and from players as-well, Next stop Counter Strike
He always runs allong a wall if it is possible. Intereting, why?

What is that game? Blood?
It looked like it would get stuck and not know which way to go, and end up going in circles as a result. I think if it was better able to recognize places it's already gone, it would avoid re-traveling the same routes. Unless, of course, it needs to backtrack. This could lead into the ai being able to solve platforming puzzles by identifying objectives and retracing known paths to find clues.
How do you make it work?
I wanna download it!!! LOL
