  1. an amazing accomplishment if it is, in fact, AI. It does at places seem slightly derivative and mechanical. Probably due to the fact that progressions alone do not connect with emotion inherent in melody writing. I'm sure some human interaction and editing are still needed. Well done!!!! Hopefully, in future we will still need human musicians to play and interpret the music, as an emotional swell, for example, is not always the same and the variables of emotion are infinite. I don't know if we will ever get to Mozart level as there is a difference between intellect and intuition.

  2. Nice work Aiva! As a machine learning beginner I absolutely how you guys composed this massive collection of algorithms to be able to do this!

  3. I am speechless but same time scared… Think.. just this AI have made an Song but think what other AIs in the future could do Self driving cars? AIs taking over Jobs? AIs Planes? AI could go really wrong quick Think bout the disasters that could happen

  5. The entire music is already written. Musicians only combine and took it over
Culture is a sociologic thing. If we want to ear AI really music dont put it humans parameters.

  6. Interesting for sure, I'd like to see how advanced this technology can get. I'm an avid listener of classical music and have been a musician for about 15 years now. That said, this music seems very dull to me. It's severely lacking a dynamic quality in terms of melody, rhythm and overall direction. No quirks or surprises. Will AI ever be able to create a masterpiece? Who's gonna program it to do so? There is no formula for that. I think creativity is something that ultimately requires a human touch to be truly special. This technology doesn't surprise me in any way – I don't know much about AI or programming, but music is math, so it makes sense that you can program AI to choose notes based on what's already been played in order to create proper resonance or dissonance. Maybe it adds some randomized choices about the direction it should go, based on what we know will sound good, and the music won't sound bad… But unless the AI can figure out itself how to create something unique and original that would stand out to listeners in the current musical climate, it won't be able to create anything spectacular, or something that would be marketable since it can only generate based off what's already been done before.
This music here, while technically sound, comes off unoriginal sounding because it seems to be simply choosing "what works", rather than being able to revolutionize and break the mould like creative humans strive to. The AI knows what's been done, but humans are able to understand what HASN'T been done and that's how I believe we're able to create truly original pieces as opposed to AI. It lacks individual style, even though I'm sure it reflects to some degree the styles of the musicians who helped create it. Or maybe it's based off past composers? Hmm… Anyway this is all just speculation. I think I have created more questions for myself than answered haha.ut we are able too since we can u

  7. This is without a doubt the best Music AI suite available. It's a shame you're not forward thinking enough to not do Freemium pricing. AI is going to make everything free for everyone– As an entrepreneur I understand the need for revenue streams– In regard to that I'm going to create a variation of your software and release it under the GNU license. Superhuman abilities shouldn't be delegated to any person or group– They should be democratized. Cheers.
