THIS IS ANDY CLARK ON TOP OF THE POPS IN 1977.
Playing keyboards in The Rah Band. He is dressed in a Balaclaver and a Bin Liner
Hiya badga360 Yes !!That sure is the same Andy
badga360 ,There are 2 Andy Clarks. This one HAS played with Bill Nelson but is NOT the one who is listed as having played with Be Bop Deluxe. .Strange isn't it ?
That drummer looks bored to death. Nice feel though.
All I remember was that it was totally "live" and when they said "Your DJ this week is……… every kid went OH NO !!!! as the canned applause drowned them out !" In the 70's everything started to go terribly wrong ! But after a body transplant followed by a head transplant- I'm fine (even tho' I'm someone else !) Love you guys – Andy Clark
@badga360 Yep. The one that also played with Upp.
Sounds good and looks are funny! Andy also played on the album Ashes And Diamonds of Zaine Griff and right after that on Bowie's great album Scary Monsters
Around this same time, Andy Clark made a single as Telescope ("Bye Byes Ain't Nice") and, in the nice glossy photo which accompanied some copies, is dressed just like he is here. He's also pictured in that same garb on the sleeve of the Italian edition of "The Crunch".
this the guy who did the synth solo at the end of ashes to ashes?
