  1. Wow this piece is amazing! You really are VERY talented!!! I just love watching you create! You’re really expanding my knowledge of artists as well. I remember many of the artists from Art Appreciation in college but you’ve shown several I’ve never heard of before. Thank you for making sure I’m learning while I’m creating. ???

  2. I love pastels, invested quite a few dollars in them. You use them in an amazing way that makes me want to run down and do more painting, this time in pastels. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and it paid for hoursnof watching videos I find are painted by people just for fun, which is ok. But I go to YouTube for videos like yours. Please share more PASTEL Videos, there are so few of them.

  3. Wow fab colours Nina…. I always hated pastels at college and was very lost when using them… But watching this has given them a new perspective and I think it suits this movement so well, I love how you scrapped off the paint to create a dappled look…. Gotta love greaseproof paper brilliant xx

  4. I absolutely LOVE this piece! I love the bright colours. I have always loved using pastels, but it has been a long time since I have worked with them. I think it's time to get them out and get messy! Thank you for the beautiful inspiration, Nina! xxxx

  5. Really love this one! Enjoyed learning about Fauvism and watching you create the trees was so cool and using the wax paper, so smart!!! I love playing in different photo editor programs with my digital photos and changing colors to "unnatural" colors, but wow, what fun with all that color!!! Your art is amazing! Thanks, Nina, Hugs, Debra

  6. I know it's messy, but the colours are so wonderfully vibrant and bright, I think it is worth getting messy fingers for. I tried I, got messy fingers and a smudged drawing for my trouble.

  7. I’d not heard of Fauvism before so thanks for explaining it and sharing your beautiful piece of art. I bought those same Pastels a few years ago but haven’t used them in ages. Tfs. Big hugs,Dee xxx??
Ps.. Great tip about the wax paper!
