This could've been done years ago (like with retail) but bosses decided to hire people out of courtesy, technology will get more advanced but that's not a bad thing. We need to change on how we live our lives & make a living in order to adapt to today's world.

Farmers are just like any other business owner, pay the labor the absolute least amount you can get away with and when you finally can't find anybody to work your crap jobs, cry about a labor shortage to usher in government subsidizing of your business..
