This is all very interesting, but WHY, WHY do we have to have the inane jazz twanging away in the background? Which total imbecile thought THAT would add anything to the presentation? He or she should be named and shamed as a buffoon. Are people so brain-dead these days that they have to have something – anything – to fill the terrible silence in the background?

thank you for this informative video. does this movement have something to do with the art nouveau movement? this was a bit earlier so i'm guessing it might've influenced art nouveau because i notice a lot of similarities between them.
