This is all very interesting, but WHY, WHY do we have to have the inane jazz twanging away in the background? Â Which total imbecile thought THAT would add anything to the presentation? Â He or she should be named and shamed as a buffoon. Â Are people so brain-dead these days that they have to have something – anything – to fill the terrible silence in the background?

thank you for this informative video. does this movement have something to do with the art nouveau movement? this was a bit earlier so i'm guessing it might've influenced art nouveau because i notice a lot of similarities between them.
