  1. Yaa waaye!

    Wa'ayo?

    Waa kuma?(male) / waa tuma? (Female)

    Waa kee? (Male) / waa tee? (Female)

    Waa kuwee? (Plural) for Male and female
    = Who ???

    The closest meaning of 'who?' is 'Wa'ayo?'

    Also some people confuse with this word 'waayo' so

    Wa'ayo? = Who?

    Waayo= because of ? Or even Why…
    …..

    Sam: Ha istaagin halkan.
    Me: Waayo? / Sababb?
