Boston Dynamics
Atlas is autonomously moving engine covers between supplier containers and a mobile sequencing dolly. The robot receives as input a list of bin locations to move parts between.
Atlas uses a machine learning (ML) vision model to detect and localize the environment fixtures and individual bins [0:36]. The robot uses a specialized grasping policy and continuously estimates the state of manipulated objects to achieve the task.
There are no prescribed or teleoperated movements; all motions are generated autonomously online. The robot is able to detect and react to changes in the environment (e.g., moving fixtures) and action failures (e.g., failure to insert the cover, tripping, environment collisions [1:24]) using a combination of vision, force, and proprioceptive sensors.

Battery life ?
Impressive but still slower the a person… but faster than some.😂
I love this but damn the way it moves is creepy! I for one bow down to our new robot overlords!
Perfect for the society for putting things on top of other things.
Why would we make worker robots humanoid? Shouldn’t they just be enough to do thier job. These are cool but having all the human flaws of balance is not a good thing
Great.
And it only cost 1trillion dollars more than any random guy off the street 😂
This is the worst it will ever be
What does fully autonomous mean at this context? I refuse to believe this is being controlled by an AI
Is placing things every other space in cloth racks, the maximum level of accuracy so far?
Nope, I don't like it.
I don't trust any entity that can just swivel its body and head like that.
Owls just BARELY get a pass in my book. But this guy is way too dodgy. lol
@Alexzoidberg458 😂thats the funniest shit ive read in long time. I love how Atlas head swivels so fast 360° like whachu lookin at? Dont be lurking
Atlas will be amazing once those movements become a habit for him! That was a great demonstration.
It's cool and all but it's not quite at human speeds yet.
Robot: “I can work 24hrs”
Me: “But I can finish what you do in 2hours!”
Has 2 hands, only uses 1 to do it's job. 👏
This
Is

uds SON DE VERDAD BOSTON DYNAMICS! Otros solo venden payasadas.
Bye bye to half of the jobs in the world.
This is cool af
Would you say that's about 50% the speed of an experienced worker?
Can you make it…not…move like that. It’s incredibly impressive Engineering to make a marvel so incredibly unsettling
thats how i walk as well!
Yeah look at him slowly take a human job
I all you have to do is train it to start complaining and take 6 bathroom breaks per day and you’ll have the perfect employee.
Seems like it should be called Seoul Dynamics.
Next up, teaching it to take a few too many cigarette breaks.
Amazing! So articulate and can move any joint! Wow!
Why does it only use the right hand?
Does someone have this job in real life? I feel like seeing this is cool, but a minimum wage worker could do this 20x faster
Stupids hell we fxced up haaaaaaelp
It puts the engine cover in the basket, or it gets the hockey stick again, doesn't it Precious?
truly amazing, looking forward to having these in households.
CAN YOU FUCK IT???!!!😂
He is taking his sweet time. Managers will be mad
Now run it at double speed!
good lord keep up the good work atlas! when the heck can we afford atlas to help out with doin laundry and picking up clutter!
Very impressive 👍
At 1:22, he reminds nightmare
오우 몸도 360도 회전이네요.
쨩입니다.
Yeah, but can it de-shell a pistachio?
Buy Sand
No wonder why they are going to hate us.
I love watching Atlas. I wish there was a live feed.

This is doctored footage.

Next thing you know…they’ll be flipping burgers and bagging fries.
The movement is creepy as hell😬😬😬
