Cheetah Robot is a fast-running quadruped developed by Boston Dynamics with funding from DARPA. It just blazed past its previous speed record, getting up to 28.3 mph, about 0.5 mph faster than Usain Bolt’s fastest 20 meter split. This version of the Cheetah Robot runs on a treadmill with offboard power. Testing on an untethered outdoor version starts early next year. For more information about Cheetah or the other robots we develop, visit www.BostonDynamics.com.

moving parts should not directly attached to the computers there should be some distance or it can damage computers

Fahrenheit 451…nuff said…
why all the robots from Boston dynamics look like they are running backward
If the treadmill wasent there would it still “run” or would it sit in one spot?
I am developing a robot deer for it to chase around the globe 24/7 !

When your girl is home alone
4 the future
Why is it running backwards?
I'm more afraid of what the next iteration will turn into.. maybe something deployable from a pod.. leaping over or through obstructions.. able to apprehend or seize objects..
compact when stored or when not in use.. scalable variations.. able to redeploy..
That MF will fall TF ova without that cable on it
Try that over rocks and sand
Skynet in early development
Hmmm. What will these be used for?
Makes me wonder how much they have improved on this machine since this was made a long while ago.
Thats why im always thinking outside the box and sometimes get ideas on what they are up to now!
Yeah add a killer AI and you have the robots from Black Mirror
