China’s Robots and AI Are Getting Scary Smart

Rafa Goes Around!

This robot is seriously impressive. I talked to the company behind it during my last visit to the Global Sources in Hong Kong.

  1. The fact that multiple nations are racing to build humanoid robots shows how fast progress is accelerating — faster than at any point in my lifetime. I’m not interested in nationalist score-keeping; I’m excited about the future this technology is unlocking.

  2. Some video on Large Energy Impulses (EMP) weapons should be available disable robots soon. Improvement unit should have better accuracy and longer range

  3. Ask the Russians what they think of the poor quality of Chinese cars and trucks. Brazilians are starting to complain abt the poor quality of Chinese cars and Russia stop to buy crapy trucks and Saudi Arabia refused to buy Chinese jets lol. It's the ultimat proof that China produces crap is that almost no one buys their weapons, their warplanes, their warships etc. With the BRICS the Chinese dictatorship hopes to force other countries, Africa, Algeria, Mexico, Brasil etc etc etc to buy them.

  4. 2:00 if you want to pass off AI videos as real make sure they don't occasionally walk on air 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ the light source and shadows were done decently but despite it being short and quick moving the uncanny valley hits hard. 2:25 this one on the other hand was a total mess… guessing it was human rendered due to how unrealistic and amature it is 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. Any food and beverage business will attract many customers eventhough their food is just ordinary. They only need to buy a humanoid robot as a waiter or one that can handle the cash register.

  6. What’s really impressive is how fast AI and robotics in China are moving from demos to real-world deployment. It’s not just about smarter robots — it’s about entire systems working together, from factories to everyday services.

  7. Yes, they've created humanoid robots but they're not autonomous. They're large toys that you control with a remote. Or they have set programs that they run through. That's what you're not seeing. And guess how much they cost? They're more than most people's cars. They're far from being able to truly interact in a meaningful way.
