  1. wow!!! thumbs up! thank you so much for this tutorial, gaining my knowledge 🙂 love your makeup eyeshadow colors so pretty!! as u are always pretty ^_^

  2. I'd love to purchase the color wheel you use in the vid. I don't see a link. Please share! Thank you! Just found your channel and am so happy I did! I struggle with which color to use with my blue eyes that are sometimes gray! lol

  3. Great tips. I also have green eyes but I don't like green eyes and certainly do not want to bring out the green-ness. Any suggestions other than purple? Really enjoyed your tip about using orange for dark under eye circles. Makes A lot of sense and I need to try that. Great video.

  4. PLEASE DO A MORE DETAILED PART 2!!!!!! I would like to learn more about color theory & see each theory “applied” by using the theories to apply colors on your eyes.

I also LOVE the eye look you’re wearing – please do a tutorial on this look!!

    Thx!

  5. My skin has a yellow-green tinge in the winter. I find that Becca Papaya does not adequately correct my dark circles. Given my skintone, does that mean my best color corrector would be red-violet? I cant say ive ever seen a color corrector deeper than lavender:/

  6. I have this in my "never delete" playlist because it's so dang helpful! I was wondering, did you ever do a video where you expounded on the subject? I usually glaze over trying to learn color theory because I get lost but you are a fabulous teacher! I bet you trained makeup artists at MAC that have gone on to help so many others. My Grandma was an artist but more so a natural teacher like you are. Her students actually learned and loved her…they were fellow adults but still…she was well appreciated. That's the highest compliment I could ever give someone, so please don't think that was a sarcastic comment comparing you to an old granny 😊 just thought I should throw that in since text comes across ….not always the way I intend. Yikes have I learned that the hard way! 😊 Anyway, I love your videos because you are such a gifted natural teacher even when you aren't doing a video like this that I wondered if you've followed this up and I just missed it maybe? If not, I would love a part 2 if you're ever inclined 😀 Even if you aren't, thank you again for this video! It's been a game changer for me and I really really appreciate your help!

  7. This was definitely neat! I took art for several years in high school and went into advanced classes and never knew color theory was such a big part of makeup! Will definitely be using it!

  8. How will you color correct a melasma on the cheeks? I have. A lot products but I cant do the trick! So frustrating. I am 44 , combination , aging skin and I will love to learn from you how to color correct and cover with foundation.Thank you ! Love your tutorials!

  9. Hey Im a painter, I came accross your video while experimenting with colour. I do appreciate what you are doing and this level of colour theory would be super helpful to anyone with no knowledge at all. But I know that your colour theory is wrong, Its not your fault though. There are a few problems but the biggest is RYB. Red, Yellow, Blue has become the holy bible of colour mixing and its really not. They teach it everywhere to everyone and no one ever gets to learn real theory unless they go searching in old books.

  10. Great video, Lisa, thanks!! So glad I found you + subscribed. I'm NC 20/25 (neutral-warm skin tone) with dark brown eyes, but I don't see how I can use the colour wheel since brown isn't represented? Can you please suggest your favourite Mac eye colours for me? Thanks! x.

  11. Thanks so much what a great video! After having head trauma and trying to get back into makeup the struggle is real! I have been watching way too many young peeps videos with no background and I'm a hot mess! This was amazing thank u
