Peter is an Anglo-Scandinavian philosopher of mind and author. He lives in West Cornwall and is engaged in his PhD with the University of Exeter, where he also teaches philosophy modules and writing skills. Peter is the inspiration behind the inhuman philosopher Marvel Superhero, Karnak. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. I tried lsd two months ago, i had the “unconditional love and platonic love” trip
The first was the unconditional love saw my family and we all had a great time dancing, loving each other, cry together. It brought me to tears. It warmed me up and i felt home
Where the platonic love was my friends where everybody was there for each other but it was cold. I fet strong around them but it felt cold.
The hallucinations were always africa related. My home.
Psychedelics made me a believer of god. Can the trippers relate?

I can tell you what we are. We are God's children. I have never and still don't see anything wrong with taking a trip now and again, but slamming or trying to disprove God, more or less, tells me this is gonna turn into something to trick those who are already blind and that is complete and utter asshattery! These potions ????, they most likely pull back the viel and the only way to do that safely, is through Jesus Christ. This is a shortcut and the only things wrong with this shortcut, is it's temporary and unsafe. The terms micro dosing and bad trip are my proof. The only way to do it right, is the way, the truth and the life! God bless & protect you all!
Incredible! I totally understand the depredations that come along with drug abuse, and the inclination toward suppressing that. But it becomes counter intuitive when we look inside the brain/body to discover that our perceptions of reality are entirely influenced and created by chemical reactions. So to think of hallucinogens as not being REAL; or to think of it as ONLY negative is just not a balanced view on the matter. People throughout history have been deeply grateful to these substances and that shouldn’t be taken lightly on some mistaken Nixonian/Reaganite religio-political intuition.
When he says taking seriously you better take that as a freaking warning my guy, most people shouldn't be doing this to get messed up. Its nothing like bud and not always in a good way be careful
One of the brains main functions is an 'Interface' between LIFE and the experience (Universe). Sadly the human brain suffers from "Double Logic" present within the human Genome. But Consciousness which is just another title for LIFE is separate from the universe including the brain. Consciousness is just another title for LIFE, or the Real Self. The human experience is just that, an experience LIFE is experiencing one of billions and billions of different experiences produced through a Processing System referred to as The Processing System of LIFE. It is very, very easy to see the Processing System Construct Outside the experience, (universe) when shown how or brought to your attention by them, that know and see 'The Processing System of LIFE' themselves. Once you discover how to see this Processing System, you can study its Construct, workings and its operating language yourself.
