  1. It reminds me a little to that woman in "Impatience of the Heart" by Stefan Zweig. It's not only the cripple girl in the First World War, it's the whole irreal feeling inside the house.

  2. I only wish someone would post the original comics in english online. Not to hate on the animations, they're great, I'd just rather have the books. They don't print them in America and you can only find a handful of them online.

  3. I've always loved Hugo Pratt's Corto Maltese stories, I'm glad IDW is reprinting them under their Euro Comics label in a large size with a beautiful reproduction and new translations from Pratt's original Italian scripts.
    This animated adaptation is interesting although I always imagined Corto as having a deeper voice somehow than this dubbed voice that Paul Bandey gives us.
    Still it's very well done. IMHO.
