Daniel Dennett, message on apostasy

Nano GoleSorkh

“It takes great courage to be an apostate from Islam. Important to get through to the children of Islam, that you are good people, that you are many and you have found ways to live good lives outside the boundaries of Islam and I offer my support in any way I can.”
Solidarity message from Daniel Dennett, an American philosopher, writer, and cognitive scientist to the International Conference in London, 22-24 July.

  1. It would take a lot of courage to be an ex Muslim. I come from a Christian family and when I came out as an atheist, my mother called and threatened to disown me. But ex Muslims are in danger of being killed by their families. So if you found a good reason to leave Islam at the risk of being killed by your family, I salute you and wish you the best! ?
