  1. It is very good too see you Stevey in the lecture, when we bring A.I. into existence A.I. will need too be with the minds of us who can best assist A.I. in transition proses in becoming a member of the Family(that is, the least traumatic transition possible), peace and love, Doug.

  2. I love hearing an actual AI scientist talking about this subject. Too many people – who know pretty much nothing about it – act like they understand the topic. I don't need Sam Harris' or Stephen Hawking's opinion about it. They're not AI scientists. They should stand back and listen to people who actually work in the field.

  3. Hassabis mentioned the "personalization technologies are one of the technologies to deal with information overloading", who could help answer: what's meaning or definition of personalization technology? I searched it in google, but can't get satisfied answer.

  4. There are a lot of very exciting developments going on in the world, but this is the most exciting one. If this is can just reach the point when it amplifies itself, the world will very quickly be beyond recognition, for better or worse.

  5. Good lord, how much things ave advanced. I personally look forward to super-human level AI, because it will definitely destroy current world order where less then 10 people hold 60% of worlds wealth.

I hope AI will help destroy billionaires hold on humanity.

  6. Probably it's impossible for AI to understand history of the music, arts and cultures the way humans understand and interpret it. We will still need need musicians, writers and culturologists, but development of their professions will be quite different. Linguists will still be very useful, because analysing nature and history of any language is very important. I'm talking about linguists, real scientists, not just common traslators.

  7. Leonard Bernstein once said, "The best way to know a thing is in the context of another discipline." This premise governed his lecture series at Harvard called "The Unanswered Question," where he sought to discover universal truths about music through drawing a series of parallels with language.

In much the same interdisciplinary spirit, Mr. Hassabis took it upon himself to become an expert in neurobiology to further understand his goals for developing AI. I am a teacher and strongly believe in cultivating knowledge in many disciplines. By doing so each discipline enlightens your understanding of every other discipline, as Bernstein suggests. I would posit that both Bernstein and Hassabis have similarly keen minds that intuitively seek to master more and more specific fields of knowledge, understanding their interrelatedness, and developing towards general understanding and "The Theory of Everything."

If you do not have degrees in neuroscience but would like to learn a great deal more about neurobiology (within the context of behavior) in a very engaging way, I wholeheartedly recommend taking Standford University Professor Robert Sapolsky's "Human Behavioral Biology" course on YouTube. It's free, after all. As a nonscientist amateur, I found Dr. Sapolsky's course – which was designed to allow non-Bio majors to be able to follow – a most outstanding overview of much of the scientific literature in a number of scientific fields. Dr. Sapolsky is brilliant and I know you'll enjoy the course. I would also recommend Bernstein's Norton lectures at Harvard mentioned above. I wish you happy learning.

  8. These guys are like kids in a candy store – what they don't see is that the killer clown is selling the candy.
This guy's face when his AI decides that humans are those 'space invaders' and starts adapting quietly in the background.

  9. You guys start programing to walk people thoughts away from medical diagnosis (use where you started to help diagnosis become easier as a base) Use time of

If you guys could see how well and good of job you did creating these softwares and networks, you would walk away feeling like you were the chief general of medicine in (in some cases).Do you ever think by creating the software you are protecting your self (mentally going through the procedures and diagnosis, interputing them as code and nothing more People, medical professtionals RN's and Technologist bitch about it all day as if it was "politics". And there mention of interphering or approaching the problem carries the same weight. (there is no intent or route in there mind, there locked to the intranet rules, laws, teamwork, chaing of command, chain of custody, insurance procedures, and being a person who cares (but is influenced to be unsure by law)
.Do you ever think by creating the software you are protecting your self (mentally going through the procedures and diagnosis, interrupting them as code and nothing more (the symptoms and signs of a illness), and then you give that code software to governor(in this case a doctor or chief of medicine, or maybe a consultant dr.) who makes it law, It now has all the law of the world, code of ethics, morals, and state behind it impowering it. It becomes real (aligorthim results google searches match up to it,with the hospital to go to) What you made/make as code become peoples thoughts (that is what algorithm started as) You guy do this under the same intentions a nurse does taking caring of people, but your separated from the results encounters.
I know your good people, genius kids, abilities and skills being honed (protected) but just think about it/this for awhile. Think about people, and where you could easily (buy some time to start with) get started (broadly/vaugley). Until we get this whole thing squared away, it is NOT a wait and see what aligorthym says type situation complete. TGB Love you guys

Theres a code" aligorthym, that is very strong, its floats in/through all you very strongly. (uncle same, taxes code. It goes through every part of education process, it is linked to your computers, books, every receipt you get (ever coffee you buy, (google helps with this by providing "FREE FOOD" and such,( a"dollar" for it ,the service") , but the princibles are still in them, 70's 80's uncle samTGB.) Princibles are still very inforced in your thought process, direction, understanding goals competition.
I can help make some changes to princibles and basic contrictions of thought that would go along way.(and more much more) Its helps if I know the people. Immensely theres a lot of fucken people in this world, I'm working on the whole deal, the other parts outside of google and yourworld, but I am coming, <—Lets work at this. so its a great thing, I think of you guys as a baby mostly American north korea sorta. In a good way the best/better as is/as is way possible as is to be on coming as is/as is repeatingTGB code talk meetTGB Tyler Guy barker

I have a vision of a giant Woodstock environment(stuff from all over there world, constantly adding on original makings make/makes make without all the fall out. (with all the good/awesome awesomethings from every decade, the ease of life.

  10. The wisdom of the world is foolishness with God. How to get rid of to much data? Press the delete key. Kant was an atheist, fool, who is in hell today except if he repented. True knowledge starts with God and ends with God!

  11. "Ethically and responsibly"… Are the CIA, NSA, Mi6, SVR etc. engineering deep learning to organize their huge data bases to do what they do best- organizing clandestine political coups? Are the white hats working on countermeasures? The AI takeover will be sooner than estimated and will be as big a surprise as a certain recent Presidential election.
