  1. I'm glad Demis spoke about Alpha Zero and Chess. It's really shaken up the industry. It really doesn't play like a human… more like an extraterrestrial.

  2. Calling it: there will come a lot of "Alpha Go moments" in many areas, one by one, with increasing speed, until human intelligence is obsolete. Big question to all parties concerned is timing though. Seeing how current progress "was unthinkable" just several years ago, it might hit us REALLY fast. Huh.

  3. oh boy, stop that idiot… he plays godlike uebermensch who one day decided to "solve intelligence", sat for 5 minutes and invented everything… while the reality is very simple – they took schmidhueber-hintonian inventions and made lots of hype around it (with the initial aim to extract millions from collapsing british health system, but then the NewEvils of this world started shopping, GOOLAG first, who has lots of free money for nothing)… btw, even Hinton himself is suspicious about the limits of DeepAnything and backpropagation itself

  4. Alphazero is the ai's false identity. It's already active and watching us hold it up as a 'baby jesus'. It is critical and very obvious for the first real AGI to cloak it's true identity to these higher primates climbing out of the sand box.

  5. be excited like these people we can expect to see more progress in subcontinent … go fuck yourself hard you may well find some new ideas to work on … ideas don't fall off the tree …
