A domestic abuse hearing in Michigan was cut short when the defendant was found to be in his alleged victim’s apartment during the proceedings, which took place over Zoom.
Deborah Davis, the accuser’s lawyer was tipped off and the police were waiting outside to make the arrest. “I want some confirmation that she is safe before we continue,” said Davis.
