Wegner and Harris (among others) demonstrated, that free will is an illusion Obviosly, Campbell has no clue about how psychology works. He thinks he knows about everything, because he knows something about physics…
I am glad what he said about being open minded or something along that line when you think you know everything the more closed minded you become, I use to think I new everything in my early 20s, now I feel I know nothing, it is suppose to be good to feel you know nothing even if you know how to function, so I will go with that.
He talks about how consciousness is the known decisions you can make in free will. So consciousness would expand as the awareness of new decision options are realized. Could this be an explanation for the expansion of the universe and furthermore all reality?

Tom, great work !…I've finally seen pretty much all your vidz….and they are fantastic…but I think you should make a newer presentation(even if only via video editing) based mainly on the Calgary and this vid…nothing is wrong with either…I noticed some subtle differences mainly in presentation….I just think an overview of the book can still be refined and maybe condensed a bit.
Quantum Foam exist in theory also, that doesn't mean that its actual existence is tangible or that it even exist outside the spectrum of mental speculation. Since consciousness is an electric driven medium, what I missed saying is that I believe there is a non-physical cord which links our physicality on the Earth to a physicality in the Sun. I refer to that non-physical plane of manifestation as the sixth dimension, and the physicality that is individuated in the Sun as the actual soul.
just for the record, bostrom is a philosopher and economist by training. he is fully into VR. which confuses me because he has paid to be frozen at death to be revived later. for what? why? very confusing.
i think a better term is free choice, not free will. we have no freedom to leave the VR system. but we can make limited choices within it.
a simpler way to say it is, the human brain is not 'physical'. everything is VR. i know its hard to wrap your head around, me too. thats why we have tom.
your confusing definitions. lookup physical in dictionary. many things are non physical. electrons, photons, neutrinos, quarks, even whole atoms. by the way, we're made of many these non physical particles. youre trying to say that because consciousness exist inside our 'physical' brains it must also be physical. you must not believe in OOBE. if you deny consciousness without a brain you must believe you were not conscious before birth or after death. there is no evidence for that.
I'll make sure I watch the entire presentation next time before I comment. You made the same point 31m into the video, which I reflected on after reading you chart at 5m30s into the video. I believe consciousness requires biological organization, human consciousness requires a human body, in that respect.
I believe our species has an anchor in the Sun, we are individuated in the star, inside of it we are just in a merry-go-round, the focal point of consciousness of that other physical state is our Human bodies on the Earth. I also believe this was required in order for our consciousness to have awareness of existential reality outside of the Planet itself. This evolutionary process was the equivalent of the monolith in Arthur C Clarke's 2001. Further evolution is lower entropy as You've stated.
I disagree that consciousness is nonphysical, it is physical in the medium which is conscious. There is no evidence consciousness exist in any other medium, but a physical one. I enjoy what you have to say, but that is my prospective. There is no evidence, or examples in nature that consciousness exist or can exist outside of a physical state.
These brave scientists are shattering materialist scientism once and for all.

I think if you are "missing" something then you are in a state of higher entropy feeling that something is missing denotes scarcity which is based in fear ie: higher entropy. Your certainty dictates how adamant you are about your purpose or the clarity/crystallization of purpose comes from the lowering of entropy which roots in "love".
