Jeff, I've read that Crawford might be willing to take a pay cut. Can you talk about whether there is any truth to this and what price you'd like to pay for him? Like the leadership, but it's a steep price for a locker room guy.
They have a quality problem in the secondary and lets call a spade a spade- have no legitimate chance against the leagues higher end passing attacks w/Chido and company when the Dallas offense isnt clicking…It Stinks that giving a RB and Jaylon Smith those big deals a year early is basically the difference between having Dak & Byron (or likely another legit DB) locked up long term…
Could you give a break down of Chido’s play last season and an outlook for him this upcoming year presuming that he plays corner?

The Dak Debate has been the top headline of the off season so far. But I think he gets far to much of the blame for last season. Our defense were bottom of the league in turnovers. Our receivers were at the top of the league in dropped passes. And our special teams were terrible which led to the average starting field position being the 27 which was near the bottom of the league. So my question is how much of the actual blame should Dak receive for last season? Oh I almost forgot the Jason Garrett effect smh
Jeff, how confident are you in lve coming back and playing like when he was a rookie?
Jeff, are there any teams that would actually give Dak a contract he wants if he hit the open market tomorrow? Or are the cowboys really his only hope in getting close to what he wants?

Lol talking statistics is like talking like some warlock that can predict the future. B. Jones didn’t create turnovers and he sucked at bringing down ball carriers. Nobody cares that he was a likable dude either because at the end of the day NFL football is a performance driven industry.
Offense puts butts in the seats. Defense is not nearly as flashy. Most people buying tickets dont know much about the team but they will come out to see big plays. Thats why nobody prioritizes corners.

By the way I love the numbers. I didnt even know about nextgen stats until I started listening to 105.3 the fan in dallas a couple years ago. I like the way you give a small explanation most of the time you use those nextgen stats too.

The cowboys invested into their 3 WRs? Calling Gallup an investment would by default mean that Diggs is a bigger investment, and Chido likewise.. lol. There’s a lot of hypocrisy in the things you say and you flip flop all over the place on everything. The cowboys had a pretty standard wide receiver core heading into the draft and the football gods gifted them Lamb at 17… no matter what you say, that was the right pick, getting the best WR in the draft at 17 and a consensus top 7 pick at a position of need, was and will remain to be a no brainer and they knocked it out of the park with that pick. Now stop being a clown and Monday morning quarterbacking and pretending that if the cowboys picked a CB with that 17th pick or kept Byron Jones and let go of Cooper, that they’d somehow be a better football team, you’re a fucking idiot.
I am a Byron Jones fan because he was in position to deny passing lanes or clean catches.
The Dolphins absolutely overpaid him. I don't blame them as he is still only 26, but there's no way he will live up to that deal because it is so massive.
Byron played the technique Richard coached really well. He rarely got beat deep and used his length to cover guys really well. Having a coach with the smarts to play him in the correct position his career changed and he go paid. Hes the best corner the cowboys have had since Deon no question. I would love to have seen what the secondary wouldve been like if Richard couldve picked the other corner and both safeties. Awuzie is a good cover guy but lacks ball skills and not physical enough to play in Richards scheme.
