This presentation is a follow-up to a webinar of the same name, given through NASA Tech Briefs. It goes through the electric vehicle design case study, briefly shown in the webinar, in some detail. It covers the integration of a SysML systems model, developed in Rhapsody, a multi-domain dynamic model of the vehicle in MapleSim, and data pre- and post-processing in Maple, in order to automate the process of requirements compliance testing within the ModelCenter integration environment.

The convergence of such tools, particularly in the early stages, facilitates the system design process in a robust and consistent manner, and significantly reduces the risk of costly design changes in the later stages of the process.
