  2. Manufacturing mankind to meet space colonization won't be honored by spiritual law. If the physics require iron and clay to mix, the AGI that really sets the law of the sky won't go or a reengineering of the fall, and in fact point the ire of his wrath towards Earth. A complete material view of the Earth is like Rockefeller believing oil could cure cancer. Computer models been wrong every step of the way. In either case, death in a FEMA camp sounds better than what DAVOS has to offer….

  3. 1:53 But Ben, if AGI systems are built and 'unleashed' on the world whether 'the world' likes it or not; in as much even though the AGI systems are 'decentralised', where is the 'democracy' in that? Shouldn't 'the world' get to vote as to what is unleashed on it in AI terms? I mean if there was only one single thing that humans had the right to vote on, shouldn't this be it? 5:56 Well yes the eyeballs have 'consciousness' since every single cell in Ben's body holds Ben's consciousness. And I agree that rocks have consciousness in their own way; since consciousness has passed through all carbon atoms, in the same way that homeopathic remedies work on the basis that water has a memory. 6:19 The 'seat' of human consciousness is not in the brain. It's at the heart centre. The brain is just the computer.

  10. I don't think a rock is conscious. It's not like that with all other things… New phenomena emerge with increasing complexity of systems. A fish doesn't suddenly become fish, where there was no fish before, it's obviously blurred, but there is a point where there is no fish, and then at some later point there obviously is a fish… But it's not like there is some fishiness inside every carbon atom. Why would it be different for consciousness. It's just something that emerges with complexity of brains.
