Andy Clark is another in a conga-line of confused scientists that has the temerity to apply present-day technologies (eg, smartphone) to how the brain and the world may "communicate". How would he describe his model if it had been formulated in the 1950s, and how will he be viewed 60 years from now when the "Embedded Cognition" idea is not even a memory. This idea of using current technology — the brain is "like" a computer, the brain is "like" a smartphone" — is foolish. Technology as metaphor to living systems is bullshit. STOP IT!
