The Outer Light

With he rise of robots and narrow AI, it would seem that everyone from doctors to box factory workers will most likely be out of a job. Which means, that a large volume never seen before will be unemployed.

  1. I think it's fake. Putting a box from one place to another in no way is applicable to what is nesseceary to the functionality of a wprk environment

  2. Hi precious Ed! I like your info and I also like it because.. it’s not fear porn. It’s the manner in which you speak and that’s why everyone LOVES YOU 🐰❤️

  3. Millions of people sitting around doing nothing but consuming and not contributing anything to society while living on universal basic income handout will be considered parasites and obsolete.

  4. Have you ever played a game like Warhammer 40k? They look at us just like we would a squad of space Marines, we send them to die without a thought to their welfare or feelings on the matter.

  5. Build the WALL.In just one year 268 thousand iilegals in America.Last February over 78,000.Highest numbers in 11 yrs.Whomever says this is not a crisis is LYING! And they are all in ill health,UN
vaccinated, uneducated & show no desire to mainstream, integrate into American society.Only here for free 💰.We cannot absorb them all or perhaps any without drastically lowering our standard of living.Soros & his minions are trying to overthrow our American Republic by swarms of masses of those that will kill us for what we have that they want.Nationalism is a good & just thing.Awaken the sleeping giant within,we must rally one to another to perservere to protect our sovereignty.Protect our heritage & our children's children rightful heritage. Those who would give up liberty for security, deserve neither.Ben Franklin.WAKE UP OR BE USED.ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is the biggest threat to our collective future we now face.Fight against the lies that all is well. The numbers tell the truth. We are under attack.Liberty, equality & the pursuit of Happiness are right now being threatened & can easily go up in smoke,if we do Nothing.Unite.Forget petty grievances. While we still are a viable force.

  6. Not true, same was said for the industrial revolution.
If you want full employment then everyone should just build everything without the use of tools or computers.

A good economy should NOT be judged by the amount of employment(which was 100% in the Soviet union) but how productive it is and how affordable the cost of living is.
    Are things more affordable now?

Technology is making us wealthier, debt, inflation(wealth transfer from savers to lenders) and unproductive government spending is making us all poorer.

  7. The are a lot of people with no other skills other than box stacking. Like Muslims. They are all on public support as it is. It will only get worse until welfare systems are totally bankrupt.

  8. Own things that make things. If everyone or every family owned a robot or garden or energy collection devices then their property works for them instead of them working for other people.

  9. Human worker-consumer-VOTERS are obsolete. The welfare state cannot cope with whole life unemployment. Expect coercive fertility controls.

  10. To not shift to automated production-automation etc. is extremely inefficient both environmentally & health wise. If it can be automated it should period & for the people who won't be able to get real jobs there must be a base income as well as the products to underpin life like basic housing-appliances-food staples-communications services=internet/phone must be free of charge. This must be done country by country so that we aren't dependent upon external factors so that sovereignty may be maintained & not through a one world government which would destroy sovereignty which is what the oligarchs & their puppets are trying to engineer so you think it's necessary because they'll make it so by building things all over the world preventing local security meaning allowing them to centrally control society.

  11. The whole "machines are gonna put us all out of work" theory has been proven wrong OVER and OVER again.. just look back at the historical record, we said the same things about the wagon, the steam engine, the railroad, the automobile, the airplane, the computer, the electric motor, the lightbulb, the smartphone, etc etc etc .. your falling into the same trap that humans have fallen for at least 10 times in the last 100 years.. smh..

    AAAANYWAY..

  12. In America all those workers are temporary workers who don’t get any time off, holidays, health care or unemployment! Unfortunately a lot of people don’t have a good resume or skills or just have to take these jobs for whatever reason.

  13. What happens when the power grid goes down from an EMP, natural disaster, terror … etc. The Elites won't know how to survive without any skills other than using others to get what they want.

  14. Robots won't form unions. They don't require expensive health care insurance. They don't steal from companies. They don't take vacations. They don't complain. I would totally hire robots if I owned a company that could use them.

  15. I used to work in a distribution warehouse and… not to sound like a dick, but those robots are way more efficient than any person working on the floor. I'm not denying that the implications of this could (and probably will) lead to massive unemployment. Nor am I insensitive to that fact, but from a business standpoint, you can't really fault a company for utilizing methods that increase productivity.

I think the larger issue is that our public education system was originally and intentionally designed to condition the majority of people to be complacent workers. Smart enough to follow directions, but just dumb enough to think that they aren't capable of doing much more. Well now that's biting everybody in the ass because technology has developed so fast that the education system that our kids are currently using is an archaic institution that's setting them up for failure. The policy makers are the ones who let it get to this point… Not the job creators…

  16. I have a solution for the coming unemployment issue ~ stop bringing in millions of foreigners every year, it makes no sense… They must be re-patriated (nice sounding word for deportation).

  17. I'm one of those unemployed and at 57 with some workplace injuries that have stopped me from being able to do hard manual labor it looks like my take home pay will remain at $250 per week for until TPTB decide they don't want to pay me that any more. I'm actually thinking about how to do away with myself when that time comes. I've never thought this way before in my life but it seems there's only one equation left to fit into as a useless eater.

  18. PRODUCTIVITY for corporations may increase along with profits but what about tax revenue that feeds govt… 😏 How will it survive without an income base…
    ANY ideas on that❓‼️

  19. Q: what will we do with all the people when robots take the jobs?A: we will retrain them to make and program the robots.Q2: what will we do with those people when the robots can make and program themselves?A2: we don't know.

  20. as for the power use. they will have 2 or 3 robots for every position. when 1 is working, two are on the charger. when their battery is dead, it transfers all tasks to the fully charged robot.

  21. Friends, if you have oak trees in your neck of the woods, start teaching yourself how to make food out of acorns. There are lots of recipes and I think it is a great way to forge food if shtf.

  22. I worked as a contamination specialist at Robert Bosch and we have robots assembled to work making the same part's as us humans and most of the time that line was broken down & the other assembly lines made their quota…I'm sure one day they'll improve on technology where it won't break as much but for my department it costs more fixing the AI assembly line than paying workers….blessing's everyone

  23. That's why they want to implement a universal basic income so the masses will be on subsistence level. Gradually followed by depopulation by war and disease created by the cabal. But greater control is needed first hence the push for totalitarianism via the European Union and United Nations. Georgia guidestones is there goal.

  24. was it a bad thing when people didnt have to tend crops and have a bunch of people doing the picking? maybe heavy labor and tedious jobs should be given to machines. saves us from repetative strain injuries too.

  25. "Look mom, a robot made my sweater!" It is amazing, however, that many people are learning more hands-on, "old-school" skills again. I think humans are naturally attracted to ambidextrous tasks and are looking for work outside of office buildings. In my city there has been a huge decline in admin work, thanks to applications that make administration work almost null and void, unless you work for the state gov. If you want a state job, get in line and be willing to wait sometimes up to three years for an opening you qualify for. But, I can totally see goverment jobs being taken over by robots. Would that be a bad thing?

  26. With the flooding in the US, Midwest, it may happen sooner than later. Is this the calm before the storm? Isn't very calm.
I am thankful for you, Ed! This is a mad world.

  27. KELLI2L2 …Thats not a Problem For the Ruling Zatanists…We People and the Goverment are only needed as Long We have created Them the Technology to replace Us Humans with These AI robots…When that is complet…They get rid of Us Humans = No need for any Government anymore..

Our Goverments are our Prisonwardens….The Fiatmoney/Taxes are only There to be the Grease to the Wheel turning…AS LONG ITS NEEDED…

  28. I do that warehouse job as a lumper. The battery is a counter balance.when it dies.replace with charged one. Just like the forklifts.

  29. So many indians are taking jobs from Americans in the high paying technology, health industry, etc. I walk into a Costco and half the customers there are Indians. I started noticing this around 2013. U.S. gives 100k h1b annually and India gets 80k of them. So many of them have converted from H1B to U.S. citizens too.
