  1. Hey, why don't you debate people on the left. I know that you will be able to expand your ideas to all of their audiences. This includes debating Kyle Kulinsky and Sam Seder.

  2. Christopher Hitchens: I don't think people need to be told to be more selfish.
Also Christopher Hitchens: I need to tell people to stop wasting their lives on religion.

  3. Roger Scruton saw the terrible road that humanity has taken and decided that life does not worth fighting for. The rulers have managed to confiscate our freedoms, to taint the world with ugliness, to destroy our sensitivity to beauty and gentleness – and he just couldn't bear it. Great man, I am sad.

  4. What Steven Pinker says (at least in Enlightenment NOW) after slamming Nietzsche is one comment on Rand: "Though she later tried to conceal it, Ayn Rand's celebration of selfishness, her deification of the heroic capitalist, an her disdain for the general welfare had Nietzsche written all over them." Instead of adding anything else on Rand, he classifies her as a Nietzschean and concludes her ideas are bad. I seriously doubt Pinker has read Ayn Rand seriously.

  5. Ayn Rand is like listening to Rush and thinking " man this is real jazz"…I still don't know why people take her seriously…Real philosophers don't even know her name…
