    IQ is not "knowledge." It is not "being smart." Study, work, experience, etc., increases knowledge and certainly makes people appear 'smarter,' but their general intelligence, which is more of the framework which causes those other things to happen, is generally not increased by that.

IQ is like a proccesor for humans, some have a faster one, some have a slower one. IQ is directly corrolated with long term success in life. Reading books and sharpening your wit doesnt make you smarter, it makes you wiser. Wisdom is the amount of knowledge you know and can use, being smart(having high IQ) is how efficiently you use and apply it
