She was a hero because she pushed the boundaries of what art could be and became one of the most influential artists of the Abstract Expressionist Movement. Materials: A wet sheet of thick paper (like watercolor paper), liquid water colors (can be made by mixing water and tempura paint), a space where you can get messy!
