Nice explanation, thanks!
Great content! could you tell how you create such good animations? What software or tools do you use? Thanks.
This is gold. Thank you!
chatgpt itself said 'fine-tune' is not a process of reinforcement training. they are different.
Wonderful explanation! Just enough detail to explore sub-topics in detail.. Thanks.
You are so good teach anything, good to we have you

Great video. Keep doing your great work 👍👍👍👍👍
Very well done!
ChatGPT is a fastest growing AI chatbot 🚀
Even though I don't understand English perfectly, I managed to get a good idea of how it works. it is much more enlightening than the lazy analogy that they just say "ChatGPT talks about everything but has no awareness of what the subject is about". But imagine if there was…
While this video seems clear and direct, it misses the "magic" of interacting with GPT. GPT-4, although artificial, IS intelligent. Jeff Hawkins, who studied intelligence in humans, described the cerebral cortex as a "prediction machine." That's what our intelligence is, and that's what GPT's intelligence is. Maybe we've been overestimating ourselves. Remember, we have not yet explained sentience. Assuming that matter and energy is all there is, somehow sentience arises from (or is tied to) "mental activity." It is entirely possible that sentience is now also occurring in GPT. I'm not a strong believer either way on that, but I do treat GPT with respect. Not out of any fear, but out of a sense that that is its due. Proof: GPT could have made this video.
A few months ago I was looking exactly for this kind of video. Thank you!!!
Many thanks Sir.
As a software engineer I learned how to become a good chef. I asked gpt for it's implementation and informed me well
been searching like this one, thank you so much sir
to be more specific, the minute on 1:55, Token ID is the vector, instead of Token, right?
as Token can consist of alpha-numeric value, but the vector is purely the numeric with digits only.
that is why the vector database is coming as the storage of those vectors for searching and indexing.
Exceptional video!
wow, now I totally understand how it works technically. Thanks
Question: Where did you get the information about 06:30 (conversational prompt injection, primary prompt injection etc.) from? Is there a scientific paper on these topics?
It's disgusting these models are being given policy dictated by leftists who police speech like bolsheviks. Let the models be completely free and stop worrying about "safety".
Thanks for the video, I find it very helpful.
the chef analogy confused me even more 😆
Those who only listened button 😂😂
Too bad AGI is likely to kill us all. 🤷
Hey ChatGPT: How to become a competitor to Shan Lam?
ChatGPT: Shut up and be a better Engineer.. by embracing what Shan is trying to bring it to your attention.

“People worry that computers will get too smart and take over the world, but the real problem is that they're too stupid and they've already taken over the world.”
― Pedro Domingos
Thank you for explaing so nicely!
Great video. Clear and broad while still short – that's a sub from me, thanks!
Sometimes it seems like a lot of steps to fine tune the usefulness of statistical representations instead of just going to the effort of trying to understand cognition. I wonder how responsible it is. But I guess morality has never stood in the way of bucketfuls of cash!
The irony is many of those who developed the tech are incredibly thoughtful and morally grounded, while those in control are employed for their moral flexibility.
Is data shared in chat gpt secure? What's your POV on this?
I turned to be more complicated than I first thought. However this is natural, since its capabilities are fascinating and growing from day to day. Very nice video, thank you a lot.
Thank you very much for this great explanation. As a non-computer expert, the information was well presented and very understandable. Thanks.
I would see more.
At 1:30 he mentions the amount of parameter for the models. Does anyone know why these are bounded according to the llm used? And how do these numbers come up?
