I don’t think the application of AI to education is as bad as everyone thinks. And of course, more research in education should be conducted.
But more importantly, it should be a tool to help understand each students capabilities in learning and concentration. If AI can improve students concentration and cater to each individual needs, I would say why not? After all, being able to concentrate is important when doing anything in life, is a life-skill.
What I think the problem in today’s education is these standardised exams, where educators and parents continously put too much value in grades. Grades should not reflect anyones value.
