I, Robot is a 2004 mystery science-fiction action flick directed by Alex Proyas, who is best known for his incredible work on The Crow and Dark City.

Inspired by the novel “I, Robot” which features a collection of Issac Asimov’s short stories, the film stars Will Smith, James Cromwell, Bridget Moynahan, Bruce Greenwood and Alan Tudyk as Sonny, the NS-5 robot suspected by the protagonist as being responsible for the death of his friend, mentor, and the creator of USR, an American company responsible for the creation and national distribution of several lines of intelligent robots that had now become an intrinsic part of society.

  1. We can not let enslave robots, they're considered as living things. They will help us advanced life, we just cant disrespect them.

  2. I also like the fact that the NS-4s all begin to attempt the protection of Spooner once the NS-5s begin going nutcase and attempts to kill him in that container yard area. The Core 1st law being active as it was meant to be.

  3. Is skillshare actually a good program to pick up hobbies and learn new useful things or is it not actually as helpful as it sounds, any body have an answer for me? Lol

  4. After more than a decade, I finally sat down and watched this movie properly. I will admit, when I saw it as a child I was merely intrigued with the robots.

But now…I understand the reasoning behind Sunny's behaviour and the detective as well.

  5. The movie bears little resemblance to Asimov s series of short stories. Robots are not allowed on Earth at all. Although they are manufactured on Earth, they cannot be assembled until they reach the planetary mining colony they were built for, often by other robots.

  6. They should make a sequel set in 2050. Maybe Spooner goes on to be a national hero, Dr Calvin becomes the big name in robotics, and Sonny comes back leading a robot civil rights movement. Someone would just have to figure out the big conflict for the movie

  7. All in how you view the situation there really ate the logical thing would have been to save her so he didn't have a mental breakdown and fail the mission because of a mental breakdown
