Yes, what's great about he world is no one ever gets old and dies and no one ever comes of age with a different perspective on the world than his or her parents and no one ever changes parties over time. There are just dramatic shifts in perspective that can only be explained by tribalism. The changing demographics of the two major political parties has nothing to do with it.

I'm not too sure compassion for the weak is much of a value for the religious groups that have bought into Trump most heavily.
Climate change happens with or without man. The question is how much man impacts climate change. That is certainly debatable and those who say it isnt are being just as tribal as those who say man has no impact on climate.
I couldn't agree more with his statement about Tribalism. I live in NZ and am a Christrian. I can't Trump, I think he has no moral character, is a liar and will basically say or do anything to make a profit. Yet because he is a "Repiblican" a lot of Christians in NZ like and support him. Pure Tribalism. IMO they don't look into his character, just like that he is on the right and leading the conservative party.

I think we will never have free thinking presidents until they get rid of money in politics. Case in point trump knows some kind of gun legislation would be good for the country but does nothing about it because he got 30 million in contributions from NRA. Same with Democrats.
I voted for Trump and I also think christianity stinks.We have worse things to be concerned about than dumb christians and republicans…We have a serious disease of Islam and left wing bernie and Hillary who shame the deplorable islamaphobes.
